Daniel 9:2-3 ‘In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.’
Daniel understood God’s plans and prophetic time-line for Jerusalem given through Jeremiah the prophet (Dan 9:2).

When Daniel knew the plan and the destiny of the Lord for his nation, he did not just wait around passively for things to happen but he fasted and prayed it into destiny!
God has a destiny (plan and purpose) for each nation, church and person. He will lead and direct us into our destiny. But we have to make a choice. We need to pray into it. He wants us to attain it.
This call to fast and pray begins on Election Day for Thailand (14 May) and ends on Pentecost Sunday (28 May) when the Ekklesia, God’s Kingdom government was birthed by the Holy Spirit on the earth. We believe that this is a crucial period of time to fast and pray to see the alignment of the earthly government with the heavenly government so that we can see His destiny fulfilled on earth as it is in heaven!
