Stand Fast in Unity: In one spirit, with one mind, for one purpose – Philippians 1:27–2:4
We should be advancing on to perfection (maturity) and spiritual completeness. Paul instructs us on how we are to reach “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. It is about being UNITED—one spirit, one mind, one purpose—in our faith and knowledge of Jesus. Not just the desire for unity but actually experiencing unity, a sign that we have reached maturity – we show forth the fullness of Christ in our lives. Paul exhorts the church in Philippi to stand fast in UNITY in one spirit, with one mind, for one purpose.
