Are You READY?

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. The word “instant” means happening immediately, without any delay. Paul charged Timothy to preach the word without any delay. To preach = to persuade other people to believe in a particular belief or follow a particular way of life. We have a similar responsibility to preach the word ANYTIME ALL THE TIME so that people will believe in the word and follow Jesus – as Jesus said to the Samaritan woman: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Are we ready or are we caught up with our own lives and goals and aspirations? What counts for us in ETERNITY? Will our works be burnt up? 1 Cor 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. Let us BE INSTANT/READY ANYTIME ALL THE TIME!
