Constrained by His love Salvation is only the entry point – we are born again to enter the Kingdom and to demonstrate the Kingdom in our lives. Are you continuing to inherit and possess the Kingdom (i.e. all that is available to us)? Paul describes how the love of Christ constrains him to live no longer for himself but for Jesus who died and rose again on his behalf. What does it mean for Paul? For Paul, it meant preaching the gospel in season out of season, reaching the lost with the message of the Kingdom of God. For Peter, the love of Jesus not only restored him but compelled him to fulfil the charge Jesus entrusted him – Feed My sheep. When we understand and grasp that agape love, we will be constrained to do as He bids us.
